The Health of Population Networks involved health researchers across British Columbia who:
Funding for the eight Networks ended on March 31, 2010.
Over the last five plus years, the Health of Population Networks experienced success in developing partnerships both among researchers, and between researchers and other stakeholders, on local, provincial and national levels. The Networks enhanced the research training environment for trainees, and fostered knowledge dissemination and knowledge transfer activities throughout the research community. These accomplishments helped build a strong foundation for the future of health research in this province.
Each of the eight Networks made unique contributions to the BC research community that will provide a legacy for health researchers in the future.
