We strive to offer unique opportunities to our partners, through an extensive network of health research, health system, government and non-government organization stakeholders.

MSFHR's Trainee Partnership Program provides an opportunity for not-for-profit organizations, foundations, and other interested groups to jointly fund BC health research trainee awards in their respective areas of interest. These partnerships expand the opportunities for more BC trainees to be supported in preparing for careers as independent health researchers.
The Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research currently partners with several non-profit’s and Foundations to co-fund Research Trainee Awards in the partners respective area of interest. Each partnership has an independent agreement and awards may be available at the following level:
