Investigative Team Program

As part of the BC Nursing Research Initiative (BCNRI), this competition is to fund one Investigative Team in the BCNRI priority area: Care Delivery.

The program will support one Investigative Team to:

  • plan and implement a program of practice-relevant nursing health services research
  • conduct research that will explore innovations in staffing and service delivery
  • focus on defining optimal team composition that delivers safe, efficient and effective health services that better meet the needs of patients, clients and service providers.

The program will help to build substantial partnerships between researchers and practitioners across BC to:

  • identify and address research questions that will produce practical and relevant results
  • develop, implement and evaluate strategies for knowledge exchange activities.

The award will be up to $200,000 per year for four years to cover the costs of research infrastructure and associated capacity building and knowledge exchange activities.
