Introduction | Conditions of Award

This is a brief overview for new award recipients who may have questions regarding the set up and payment of their award. Be aware that each host organization has a different process for setting up an award, and that it is best to confirm the process with the host organization's finance department.

Award Administration
The career/salary award will be set up through the host organization's finance department. The Award Detail letters that outline the duration and amount of the career/salary award are mailed out after the Award Acceptance Forms are received by the Career Investigator Program. Award payments are paid to the host organization on a quarterly basis, and payment schedules for the applicant are determined by the host organization.

The establishment grants will also be set up through the host organization's finance department and are paid to the host organization in four installments over a two-year term.
