Approved Technology/Methodology Platforms
For More Information
Phase II of the Networking Infrastructure Program focuses on the establishment of essential provincial, cross-cutting technology and methodology platforms that will support a broad range of health research applications across institutions and research teams. The platforms will enhance health research across BC and increase its national and international competitiveness. The program allows for the development of one provincial plan per platform.
On March 30, 2007, the MSFHR Board of Directors approved funding for the initial development of six provincial health research technology and methodology platforms.
Three applications were approved for immediate implementation: BC BioLibrary, BC Proteomics Network, and Centre for Drug Research and Development. An additional three were approved for funding, pending satisfactory response to issues raised by the external panel of research and business experts that reviewed the applications. Of these, two have been funded: BC Clinical Genomics Network, and Population Health Data Access and Analysis Platform.
