MSFHR Research Trainee Program Awards support highly qualified Master's, PhD and Post Doctoral trainees to prepare for careers as independent health researchers. While "training on the job," these exceptional students significantly increase the productivity of the research programs with which they are affiliated. By funding their training, BC is better positioned to retain them as future leaders in health research. All awards consist of an annual stipend and a research and travel allowance.
See the list of 2008 Trainee Award recipients and previous recipients.
MSFHR partners with BC non-profit organizations and foundations to jointly fund Trainee Awards in specific areas of interest. See the Trainee Partnership Program page for more information.
MSFHR is conducting an external review of the Foundation's Research Trainee and Career Investigator Programs.
