N2 province-wide membership renewed for 2023-2024

We are is pleased to announce renewed funding for a province-wide membership agreement with N2 (Network of Networks). This renewal continues until April 1, 2024.

N2 is an alliance of networks and organizations working to enhance national capability and capacity for clinical research and trials. Tools and resources available through its membership include educational courses (available via CITI-Canada), standard operating procedures (SOP), Quality tools, tools to engage participants and more.

Clinical Trials BC has provided this partner program since 2017 as part of our work to build a clinical trial ready workforce. Each member organization has a designated lead administrator who provides access to N2’s resources to their affiliated clinical trials researchers or sites. View the member list.

We facilitated membership for 22 academic and health authority research institutions and 12 community investigators across BC last year.

1,125 new learners were registered and 3,055 courses were taken through the BC membership between April 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023.


CITI-Canada courses

One of the highlighted benefits of N2 membership is the access to an array of CITI-Canada Program’s courses on a variety of research related matters. For 2023 – 2024, the courses available to member organizations include: Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Health Canada Division 5, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC), Human Subject Research (HSR) – Biomedical and Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).
