Mark Martinez

Dr. Mark Martinez is a professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He is also a fluid dynamist with expertise in flow visualization and simulation, specializing in the understanding of the motion of complex fluids.

Dr. Martinez has served as director of the Pulp and Paper Centre, the Bioproducts Institute, the Advanced Papermaking Initiative, and Master of Engineering Leadership in Green Bioproducts at UBC. He has received an NSERC Synergy Award and the BC Lieutenant Governors Technology Innovation Award.
