Convening & Collaborating Awards update: Guidelines now available
31 August 2016
Researchers planning to apply for MSFHR’s inaugural Convening and Collaborating (C2) Awards are now able to review the competition guidelines.
As part of MSFHR’s commitment to providing advance notice of program details and timelines, the guidelines have been posted in advance of the formal competition launch, currently scheduled for the week of September 26-30.
The MSFHR C2 Awards build capacity for the development and use of research evidence in practice, policy and further research by promoting knowledge exchange between health researchers and research users. The C2 funding program is designed to provide support to plan research programs, projects, and/or activities between researchers and research users that target health research responsive to BC health system priorities.
Examples of research activities that are supported through the C2 awards include, but are not limited to:
- Developing research questions or plans that could form the basis of a grant application.
- Developing an integrated knowledge translation plan as part of a research project or program of research.
- Developing a plan to implement research evidence and/or study the implementation of research evidence.
- Stakeholder engagement (e.g. holding a workshop or symposium) regarding health research needs, gaps and opportunities, priority policy issues and/or priority research questions.
