MSFHR partners on national KT training workshop

31 May 2016

MSFHR is pleased to once again partner with KT Canada on the 2016 Summer Institute on Knowledge Translation.

The work of the KT Canada Summer Institute aligns with MSFHR’s goal to build capacity for knowledge translation through training and resources – one of five functional areas we have identified through which funders can create the conditions for effective KT.

The Summer Institute provides participants the opportunity to increase their understanding of KT research – including opportunities and challenges in the field – and to network with national and international KT experts. This year’s institute will consist of two half-day sessions focused on end-of-grant and mixed methods.

Held in conjunction with KT Canada’s Annual Scientific Meeting, the Summer Institute will be take place in Toronto on June 15. The Summer Institute is aimed at graduate students, post-doctoral and clinical fellows, as well as junior faculty who study issues relevant to KT and those who want to advance their research skills in this area.

MSFHR has identified one BC-based post-doctoral candidate to attend the Summer Institute and will be paying registration and travel costs to a combined total of $1,200.
