Research is care and care is research! Caring is at the heart of who we are. Inspiring hope and trust as we provide the highest standard of health care for the people who live here. For over 20 years, we’ve been working and partnering for the health and wellbeing of everyone in the BC Interior — over 801,000 people.

By working together we deliver services and solutions that make a positive difference in the lives of everyone in our region — all 215,000 square kilometres located on the ancestral, unceded, and traditional territories of the seven Interior Region First Nations: Dãkelh Dené, St’át’imc, Syilx, Tŝilhqot’in, Ktunaxa, Secwépemc, and Nlaka’pamux Nations.

We will work tirelessly to ensure everyone receives the attention and care they need. And we will continue to explore innovative new ways to deliver health care.

Our goal is to make it possible for everyone to improve their wellness and quality of life.

Our Interior Health Research Department is building a Learning Health System that includes voices from our communities, helps advance health care delivery, and contributes to improved health and well-being for all. To learn more, email research@interiorhealth.ca.
