Dr. Lori Brotto

Dr. Lori Brotto is a registered psychologist and a professor in the University of British Columbia's Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology where she conducts research on women's sexual health and desire. She is also the executive director of the Women's Health Research Institute of BC, located at the BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre; holds a Canada Research Chair in Women's Sexual Health (2016-2021); and is the director of the UBC Sexual Health Laboratory, which focuses on developing and testing psychological and mindfulness-based interventions for women with sexual desire and arousal difficulties and women with chronic genital pain.

Brotto is an associate editor for the Archives of Sexual Behavior, is the sexual health expert for The Globe and Mail, and is frequently featured in the media on topics related to sexuality.
