As Manager, Knowledge Translation, Genevieve is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Foundation’s knowledge translation strategy. She is also a key contributor to the development of the knowledge translation strategy.
Prior to MSFHR, Genevieve was the research manager for the Movember funded study Man Up Against Suicide that used photovoice methods to investigate men’s depression and suicide. She has also headed up a number of community/university collaborative research projects including Fostering Health: Creating Supportive Transition for Youth in Care, and Capturing Wisdom and Resilience: An Evaluation of Pinnacle Alternative Program.
Genevieve has a PhD in educational studies and a Master in Arts in adult education from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Arts in child and youth care from the University of Victoria, and a Bachelor of Arts in women’s studies/psychology from Simon Fraser University.
Genevieve is a previous recipient of an MSFHR Post-doctoral Fellowship Award.
