Oralia Gómez-Ramírez

Oralia Gómez-Ramírez is a postdoctoral research fellow at the BC Centre for Disease Control and the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia. She is currently using institutional ethnography to investigate the contextual barriers and opportunities, as well as health equity considerations, shaping the implementation, expansion, and sustainability of GetCheckedOnline, an internet-based testing service for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections. Oralia trained in sociocultural anthropology and is a feminist ethnographer, health researcher, and early career program evaluator.
