Robine Donken

Dr. Robine Donken is a postdoctoral research fellow with BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute and the Women’s Health Research Institute. Her focus of research is the most effective dosing schedule for HPV vaccination with regard to effectiveness and immunogenicity.

Donken had a strong interest in methodology and applied research and completed her master’s degree in Epidemiology at Utrecht University. She completed her PhD at the VU Medical Center, Amsterdam and National Institute for Public Health (RIVM), Bilthoven, in the Netherlands. Her PhD thesis focused on monitoring of the Dutch HPV vaccination program and describes the effects, the change to the two-dose schedule, methodological challenges and future perspectives.
